Plasco Building, also known as the Plasko Building, was a high-rise building in in the capital city of Iran, Tehran.
It was the tallest building in Iran in 1962-63, and was the second building of the 20th century to be the tallest in Iran.
It was built in 1962 by the prominent Iranian Jewish businessman Habib Elghanian, named after his plastics company. It was used as a residential and commercial building, with a major shopping center on its ground floor.
The building collapsed on 19th January 2017 after it caught fire. Iran's state-run Press TV said people were believed to be trapped inside the building. Wikipedia
